Shipping

Important: It is the customer’s responsibility to be available to accept the goods ordered. If you are not sure of your availability then you must enter a shipping address where the goods can be signed for along with a contact details of a person who can accept the delivery . There is an opportunity to enter these details when ordering on the website alternatively covey this information when placing an order by telephone.

Carriage Times and Pricing:

UK Mainland (excluding Scottish Highlands and Islands)

All UK Express Shipping is priced at £5.99 including VAT per order. Except Josef Kihlberg products which are made to order and incur a £10.00 carriage cost along with some products in our clearance sale.

The majority of our product range is in stock and qualifies for our express shipping - 1-3 Working days in duration.

A few products, are held in our suppliers’ warehouse and consequently can take a little longer to process but will be despatched as soon as they arrive with us. The delivery times for these products will be displayed in the delivery section of the checkout.

NB During current times due to the volatility in the market along with Brexit and delays brought about due to COVID-19, there are times when our stocks are low.

Offshore:

Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands.

Shipping prices are calculated at the checkout (Starting at £20.00)

Items stocked with ourselves will be delivered within 2-5 Working Days.

For items stored in our suppliers’ warehouse, delivery time will be calculated at checkout.

Scilly Isles and Isle of Man

Shipping prices are calculated at the checkout (Starting at £32.50)

Items held with us will be delivered within 2-5 Working Days.

For items held in our suppliers’ warehouse, the delivery times will be calculated at checkout.

Ireland

Shipping prices are calculated at checkout (Starting at £20.00)

Items held in our warehouse will be delivered between 2-5 Working Days.

For items stocked in our suppliers’ warehouse delivery times will be calculated at checkout.

NB Josef Kihlberg tools are made to order and so will usually have a longer lead time as displayed during the checkout process.

Returns: 

Here at mytoolkit.co.uk, we understand that you don’t always make the right decision on what you ordered from us or it isn’t quite what you were needing and therefor you need to send it back. Important: To avoid any additional costs. If you have any doubts about your tool or fastener matching, we encourage you to call us on 0333 8000 345 (standard rates apply) or write to us here so we can advise you on the correct items.

NB. Our returns policy below is exempt for Josef Kihlberg and Haubold which are made to order and imported. So, it is the customers responsibility to ensure that they have ordered and paid for the correct tool. No returns will be accepted on these.

If You Want To Exchange A Product 

If you need to exchange your order. We can oblige, but will usually require any additional shipping costs that may have been incurred along with restocking fees. This cost totals 20% of your order. We suggest that you contact us on 0333 8000345 as soon as possible to place your order for the correct item/items. At which stage we shall agree the method for you to return your goods.   NB: In the case of consumables (fasteners) the box quantity needs not to be diminished in quantity and the box must be received by us intact. In the case of tools, these must be unused and intact and in their original packaging.

Please note: exceptions to the above are - specialist tools (specially ordered in)  or ones that have been made to order for you. Please ensure you have ordered the correct specialist  tools and fasteners, a phone call or email to the office would assist with this.0333 8000345 (standard rates apply) or write to us here.

Where The Item Is Faulty Or Damaged From New

If an item arrives faulty or damaged from new, we will replace these. If you experience a problem with any of our products then please contact us within 7 days of receiving the goods. It will then become your responsibility to return the product/products, unused, intact and in their original packaging. On receipt to us, our engineer or the manufacturers engineer will inspect the tool or fasteners based on your report. To avoid any issues, please open and inspect your delivery then notify us of any problems immediately following  receipt of your items and where possible include a minimum of one photograph.  NB: In the case of consumables (fasteners) the box quantity needs not to diminished in quantity (unless previously agreed to be ok in consultation with ourselves)

If Your Product Develops A Fault

If you have an issue with a product that we supplied that goes on to develop a fault within its warranty period, we can help. The process for warranty resolutions will vary depending on the brand and product type and some parts will not be covered by a warranty. If you are having an issue, please contact us and we will help to get the problem resolved as quickly and easily as possible. In most cases, an item that develops a fault will need to be inspected first by either ourselves or the manufacturer prior to a repair/replacement being supplied. Please be aware that this is out of our control and the turnaround can take around 10 working days although wherever possible we will try to ensure any such issue is dealt with promptly and returned to you with immediate effect.

When The Item Is Not Wanted

If there is nothing wrong with your product but you just want to send it back, you must contact us within 14 days of dispatch then returns must be arranged within the following 14 days. The item must be in brand new condition with all of its original packaging. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer free returns at this time, so the cost of return postage along with a 20% re stock fee will be covered by yourself.  In the case of consumables (fasteners) the box quantity needs not to diminished.

If An Item Has Been Ordered Incorrectly

Please contact our team immediately to discuss available options. Please note there are some circumstances (see above for 'If you want to exchange a product') that credit card fees / handling / admin / restocking charge (20%) will be need to be added and this is unfortunately out of our control. NB In the case of consumables (fasteners) the box quantity needs not to diminished.

Once An Item Is Returned

Following item/items been returned to us for a refund, payment will be processed within 7 working days of receipt, this does not include the time it may take to come from you to us. Please note also that once a refund is processed to a credit or debit card minus fees, it can take up to 6 working days for the funds to show in your account, this is out of our control.

 **Please note that Stapling and Nailing Supplies reserve the right to refuse a return if it is deemed that the item is not fit for return and violates our policy. In this instance the goods will be returned back to you and you may be liable for any costs incurred

Warranties

Please check on tool ordered regarding individual warranty terms as different manufacturers offer different terms.

Wear and tear parts may not be covered by warranty due to the nature of the tools. Please see diagram below showing these.

Please note, warranty covers faulty parts and not damage of the tool. Please contact the office on 0333 8000345 in regards to warranty repair on tools. The tool will then be evaluated to check warranty eligibility.

Important: if under warranty the tool must not have been tampered with as this will render any guarantee null and void.
