Probably one of the easiest tool reviews to do this week. It’s a great old favourite that’s been around many years; the Fasco 71 Series Upholstery Stapler. We’ve used and serviced this tool over many years and it is undoubtedly one of the best models on the market.
First Impression
Looks like most upholstery staplers, but when you put this tool on the air line you know the difference – it’s definitely a professional tool and you can feel the quality performance. The nose design allows excellent job visibility, good non-slip rubber grip aids handling and reduction in tool vibration. Bottom loading staple magazine with speedy one hand release latch.

- Fires Staples from 4mm – 16mm. (71 Series)
- Anti Vibration Rubber Grip.
- Slimline Nose for excellent job visibility.
- Rear exhaust with noise reduction muffler.
- Quick one handed reload magazine latch.
- Air Consumption 0.371 Ltrs Per Shot at 90psi
- Weighs in at a modest 0.78 Kg
As you can see from the video, we are all a fan!! Just so nice to see a quality tool that not only performs well but is also very, very easy to maintain.
With the many years using and supplying this stapler to the trade and for DIY, I have no hesitation in awarding 5 Chuck Star ratings to this stapler. It will give you many years of quality stapling.
