FCN57V vs GCN57P - The Ultimate Tacwise Coil Nail Gun Comparison

Hi folks,

Thank God it’s Friday, eh?

It’s not been that long since I did a blog on Tacwise coil Nailers – featuring the DCN50LHH and the FCN57V. I know just really wanted to show this comparison of the GCN57P and FCN57V flat coil nail guns.

Let’s take a closer look at each tool:-

GCN57P

  • Dual shot modes (single shot and bump fire)
  • Takes 2.1 flat coil nails to 57mm
  • Air operated
  • Carry case

GCN57P

The GCN57P is a tool solely for the manufacture of pallets, cases etc no fancy features, just plug it in to an airline and go.

FCN57V

  • Dual shot modes (single shot and bump fire)
  • Takes 2.1-2.5 flat coil nails to 57mm
  • Adjustable depth of drive
  • Air operated
  • Carry case

FCN57V

The FCN57V is a bit of an all-rounder. The adjustable depth of drive makes it ideal for sheds, fencing and outbuildings but it can also be used in pallet and case industry.

Another point I’d like to make is that the FCN57V is also more price competitive than the GCN57P. I personally would never use price as a reason to buy or not to buy a certain tool – as that can land you in a tricky position! But the FCN57V will do everything the GCN57P will do – and more – so save your pennies!
