71 Series Staples (Galvanised, Stainless Steel, Black or Beige) 

What a fine collection of upholstery staples!  

The 71 Series Staples are a must in every upholsterer’s or up-cycler’s tool box. These fine wire staples are perfect for stapling fabric in a neat and tidy way that leaves your projects looking professional with no bulky fixings. These staples are used with our expansive brand range of 71 Series Staplers which can be found here – find your perfect match! 

Use these fine wire staples for upholstery, up-cycling, insulation and our 3mm Staples are the perfect size for door cards or trimming (they’re hard to find but we’ve got them!) 

We have 71 Series Fine Wire Staples available in leg lengths ranging from 3mm through to 16mm. There are also 4 different finishes of these type 71 series staples in our stocks – we do like to spoil you for choice over here at My Tool Kit.

Galvanised finish for general indoor use which are the most budget friendly option; there is Grade 304 Stainless Steel  for when you are working outdoors or upholstering in potentially damp areas such as boats, in summary when you just need to avoid the risk of rust and blackening. Black and Beige coated staples are also on hand from us,  for when you want that ultra-seamless finish with staples that blend into the fabric.  

Specifications 

Galvanised – 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm and 16mm. All come in boxes of 20,000 except 3mm, 14mm and 16mm which come in boxes of 10,000. 

Stainless Steel (Grade 304) – 4mm, 6mm, 10mm come in boxes of 20,000. 5mm, 8mm, 12mm come in boxes of 10,000. 

Black – 8mm, 10mm, 12mm come in boxes of 20,000. 14mm come in boxes of 10,000. 

Beige - 12mm in boxes of 20,000. 

All lengths and finishes have a Crown Width of 9.1mm (23 Gauge)
